Holy Week 2025

For Holy Week 2025 - April 12 - 20, Fr. Nektarios will lead services for Lazarus Saturday evening and Palm Sunday.  We will welcome Fr. Dan Suciu on Holy Wednesday through the Agape Vespers on Great and Holy Pascha.  He will be joined by Constantine Brown, who will assist with the chanting.  Below is Fr. Dan's biography as well as the schedule of services for Holy Week.

Fr. Dan Suciu was born in 1955, in Dumbraveni, Sibiu, Romania into a family of a saintly mother and an atheist father working in the political prisons system of Communist Romania.After graduating highschool, he finished the 4 years of theology at the Theological Institute in Sibiu. In 1979, he was admitted to doctoral studies at the Theological Institute of Bucharest. In 1981, he received a scholarship at Princeton Theological Seminary, to work on his dissertation.

Wanting freedom and safety for a future family along with Delia, his Presvytera, they immigrated to Canada where he served missions and parishes for 10 years.In 1994, at the urging of Fr Peter Gillquist, he joined the AEOM, then, served an Antiochian parish until 1996. Metropolitan Isaiah received him in the GOA in 1996 and he has served in 3 parishes of the Greek Metropolis of Denver, including San Antonio where he retired. Presvytera Delia and Fr. Dan have 2 children, Sylvia(John) and Christophor. They are also blessed with 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Anna.
